The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Auzier shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Torres pinned against the ropes. Torres gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Auzier slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Torres felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Torres really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Auzier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Auzier is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Torres is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Auzier is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Torres looks calm but he's in trouble here. Auzier gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Torres is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Auzier lets go of the hold and Torres can pop his arm back in it's socket.
