PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nero Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taco Bueno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Padilla kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dead by Dawn by Deicide. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bueno moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Padilla throws out a loose jab but Bueno uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bueno connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Padilla lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bueno circles away quickly and effectively.
Bueno missing with a left hand there. Padilla was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Padilla throws a head kick that misses.
Bueno throws out a counter right but Padilla avoids it with no problem.
Bueno's corner calls for a 1-2. Bueno obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Padilla has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bueno finds it's way round the side to connect with Padilla's head.
Padilla misses with a low kick as Bueno jumps back.
Bueno throws a wild body kick that Padilla sees coming a mile off.

Bueno pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Padilla, as that shot connected.
Bueno throws a hook but Padilla blocks it.
Padilla misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bueno jabs Padilla right on the nose. Padilla blinks but takes it well.

Bueno closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Padilla to the mat! Padilla manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bueno lands a nice short elbow.

Padilla has his feet on Bueno's thighs here. He's pushed Bueno off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bueno screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
