Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean Juan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Deegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deegan has chosen Land of Confusion as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juan lunges at Deegan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Deegan's hand.

and Juan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Juan.

Juan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Deegan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Juan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Cory Deegan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deegan shoots in looking for a takedown. Juan tries to sprawl out of it but Deegan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Juan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Deegan is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Juan off. It looks like it's working - Juan slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Deegan displaying calm under pressure there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Sean Juan will probably get the nod.

Juan is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Deegan moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
