Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yule Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shifty McShady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shifty McShady will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yule Bronson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shifty McShady!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Winston Howard and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bronson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Left hook, right uppercut from McShady.
It looks like Yule Bronson has been cut.
Bronson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McShady shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bronson but Bronson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McShady fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McShady shoots for a double leg takedown but Bronson sprawls well. He's pushed McShady's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yule Bronson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shifty McShady.
Bronson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
McShady looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Let's hope that McShady has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from McShady.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bronson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McShady did well to prevent Bronson getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McShady is controlling Bronson's trapped leg to prevent Bronson from advancing to side control.
Bronson prevents McShady from standing back up.
McShady pushes Bronson off and gets back to his feet.
McShady throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
McShady shoots in and bounces Bronson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
McShady decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bronson, up you get!

McShady throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bronson's waist but Bronson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McShady off to one side.
Bronson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McShady.
McShady goes for a double leg but Bronson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bronson continues to drive forward.
McShady scores with a three punch combo!
McShady looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and McShady counters with a series of strikes. Bronson will be more careful next time no doubt.

McShady shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bronson as he avoids it easily.

McShady throws a combination. Bronson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
McShady shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bronson sprawls well. Bronson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McShady gets slowly back to his feet.
McShady fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McShady throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bronson on the side of the head.
Yule Bronson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McShady is trying to get an arm triangle but Bronson is defending well.

Bronson is looking to improve his position but McShady isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McShady cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

McShady tries to control but Bronson wriggling away.

McShady unloads with some shots from mount but Bronson bucks and avoids them well.

Shifty McShady has got the better of the ground game so far.
McShady throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

McShady fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
McShady has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
McShady lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Bronson is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Iron Works $500 Elite Coaches, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
McShady throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bronson because McShady loaded up on that one.

McShady looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
McShady changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bronson tries to avoid it but McShady manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bronson to the ground. Bronson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McShady will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

McShady has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bronson is landing a low percentage of strikes.

McShady manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bronson on his heels. He'll look to pass Bronson's guard now, I'm sure.

McShady tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McShady has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

McShady wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bronson keeps working.
McShady sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bronson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Bronson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McShady wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bronson, who protects the arm well.
Bronson is not content to let McShady control the position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McShady advances to mount.
McShady tries to control but Bronson wriggling away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Shifty McShady is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Shifty McShady comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McShady has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
