Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brutus Beefcake!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ron Honeybunn and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefcake waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kahkonen.
Beefcake tries to clinch there but Kahkonen circles away.
Beefcake just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromKahkonen.
Kahkonen with a jab.
Kahkonen lands a nice looking body kick.
Beefcake wants to clinch.
Kahkonen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Beefcake rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kahkonen counters with a series of strikes. Beefcake will be more careful next time no doubt.
Good exchange - Kahkonen coming out on top.
Kahkonen thuds his shin into the meat of Beefcake's side.

Kahkonen has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kahkonen blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Beefcake tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Beefcake misses with a hook to the ribs.
Beefcake misses with a short punch on the inside.

Beefcake is trying to maintain a safe position but Kahkonen gets an underhook and turns Beefcake into the cage.

A right hook to the body lands for Kahkonen.
Beefcake tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Kahkonen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kahkonen is struggling to control the position.
Kahkonen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Beefcake throws a head punch that misses.

Kahkonen successfully pulls guard.

Kahkonen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kahkonen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
It looks like Kahkonen is going to stand back up.
Beefcake tries to get to full guard but Kahkonen has control of the leg.

Kahkonen is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Kahkonen is trying to control the action in half guard but Beefcake is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Beefcake is staying active underneath Kahkonen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Beefcake gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kahkonen clobbers Beefcake with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Beefcake looks to throw the jab but Kahkonen is out of range.
Kahkonen cracks a nice hook into Beefcake's ribs.
Kahkonen looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Beefcake swings widly with a right hand
enabling Kahkonen to counter with a crisp jab.
Beefcake takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kahkonen lands with a nice combination. Beefcake backs away looking to recover.


Beefcake is rocked!

Kahkonen has Beefcake up against the cage in a clinch.

Kahkonen jumps guard and drags Beefcake to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Beefcake prevents Kahkonen from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kasperi Kahkonen dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Whack! Kahkonen lands a heavy head kick that drops Beefcake. The ref tackles Kahkonen to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Beefcake was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Kasperi Kahkonen!
During a confident post fight interview, Kasperi Kahkonen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
