Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tau Fang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Dust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dust's choice of entrance music: Raining Blood. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tau Fang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ken Dust!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fang misses with a series of wild punches.
Fang misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Dust closes the distance and clinches.
Fang fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Fang on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Fang misses with a hook from the clinch.
Fang misses with some punches.

Dust jumps guard and drags Fang to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Dust wants to sweep but no luck.
Fang is stalling in the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fang tries to free his leg and advance position but Dust is retaining full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fang is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dust is trying to control but can't.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dust.

Dust throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fang's waist but Fang gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dust off to one side.
Dust fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Fang is breathing heavily.
Fang throws a sloppy head kick and Dust moves out of range easily.

Fang swings wildly with an uppercut but Dust uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fang gets underhooks to prevent Dust's takedown attempt.
Tau Fang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Dust.

Fang lunges at Dust with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dust's hand.
Tau Fang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dust takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fang scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Fang tries a head kick but it misses.
Dust uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fang.
Fang looks to land a right hand but Dust moved out of range.

Dust fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fang throws a jab but it's blocked by Dust.

Fang tests Dust's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dust clinches up against the cage.

Dust has clasped his hands together around Fang's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fang sneaks back into half guard.
Dust prevents Fang from improving his position.

Dust seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fang does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Fang is positioning himself well to prevent Dust advancing to mount.
Fang regains full guard. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tau Fang dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Fang darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Dust tries for a takedown but Fang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dust takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Dust moves in looking to clinch but Fang pushes him off.
Fang is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Dust dodges the punch combination from Fang.
Fang dances in with a quick combination. Dust is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Fang snaps Dust's head back. Dust stumbles backwards against the cage. Fang steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Dust's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Dust just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tau Fang!
