Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maximo Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yeralear Imaimashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Imaimashi's choice of entrance music: Slaves - Feed the Mantaray. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz shoots in for a double leg but Imaimashi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Imaimashi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ruiz has time to react.
Imaimashi scores with a head kick. Ruiz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Maximo Ruiz has been cut.
Ruiz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Imaimashi, pushing him back against the cage.
Ruiz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Imaimashi smiles and moves away.
Imaimashi lands with a right hand.
Ruiz tries to clinch but Imaimashi moves away
letting Imaimashi counter with a right hand.
Ruiz wants to clinch up but Imaimashi keeps it at a distance.
Ruiz tries to move into range but Imaimashi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ruiz is rocked!
Imaimashi walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ruiz drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Imaimashi swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ruiz's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yeralear Imaimashi!
In his post fight interview, Yeralear Imaimashi gave a big smile as he said 'I won? Say whaaaa-?'.
