The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voss throws a head kick that misses.
Masamune went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Masamune tries to clinch up.
Masamune tries to close the distance and clinch up but Voss swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Masamune tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Voss paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Voss stuffs the takedown.
A bone on bone clash there as Voss blocks the leg kick.
Masamune sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Masamune is breathing heavily.
Voss pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Voss throws a leg kick which misses Masamune's front leg but catches the back leg as Masamune tries to avoid it.
Voss scores with a nice body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Voss throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Masamune crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
