The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrillo blocks a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from KO. Carrillo does a little dance to reset his feet.
A head kick by KO misses
and Carrillo counters with a stiff right hand.

Carrillo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into KO's guard.
KO looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carrillo is one step ahead there.
KO wants to stand and escape but Carrillo is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
KO has a closed guard, preventing Carrillo from standing up.
KO looking for a sweep. Not yet KO, not yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
KO looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Carrillo prevents KO from getting back to his feet.

KO is looking to cinch up a triangle. Carrillo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to KO's body to avoid the submission. KO has instead reached around Carrillo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! KO arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
