The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonkers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Grimes is fending him off so far but Bonkers persists. Nope, Grimes circles away and we're back to standing.

Grimes fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bonkers to the ground. Grimes is now in Bonkers's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bonkers decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Grimes, up you get!
Grimes leaves Bonkers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Grimes wants to counter with a clinch but Bonkers pushes him away.
No joy there for Grimes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Grimes misses with a series of wild punches.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bonkers enables Grimes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bonkers manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Grimes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bonkers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Grimes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bonkers to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Grimes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bonkers pulls down on the head and he's put Grimes to sleep! This one is all over!
