Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kit Jarles!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Chris Dean and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarles blocks the body kick.

Jarles gets tackled into the cage by Dertli. Dertli maintains the clinch.
Dertli pushes Jarles back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dertli pushes off an throws an elbow but Jarles leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Dertli tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dertli goes for a takedown attempt but Jarles pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jarles lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dertli throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jarles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dertli manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jarles misses with the combination.
Jarles throws a series of punches but Dertli moves out of range.
Kit Jarles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dertli misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dertli doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jarles getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

It looks like Kerem Dertli has been cut.
Jarles throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Jarles avoids the head kick by Dertli.
Jarles connects with a body shot that sends Dertli's belly button to the back.
Dertli tries to clinch there but Jarles circles away.
Dertli tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jarles manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dertli tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jarles paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jarles lands a left and a right that send Dertli crashing to the mat, dazed. Jarles thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jarles fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Dertli to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Dertli looks to clinch but Jarles throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Dertli taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
