Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrel Grenier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Grenier as he jumps to the side.
Anderson moves in looking to clinch but Grenier pushes him off.
Anderson fails to land the takedown.

Grenier shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Grenier is working for a kimura but Anderson is defending it quite comfortably.
Anderson is looking to control Grenier's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anderson avoid being mounted?

Grenier stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Grenier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Grenier is looking to work some ground and pound but Anderson has wrist control.

Grenier had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Anderson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Grenier Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Anderson's back instead.
Well, with Grenier on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Anderson is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
