Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gassey Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stand up like a hurricane. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gassey Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Smith!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Jack ducks down to avoid it.
Smith lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jack cracks a nice hook into Smith's ribs.
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jack tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jack to the ground. Jack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smith shoots in but no luck this time.
Jack throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jack misses with a double jab.
Jack swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jack thuds his right hand into Smith's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like James Smith has been cut.
Smith throws a hook to the side of Jack's head but Jack sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Smith throws a solid leg kick but Jack takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Smith.

Smith feints and as Jack raises his hands in defense, Smith changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jack pulls Smith in close to prevent any damage.
Smith preventing the sweep.
Smith wants to control from the top but Jack keeps moving.

Smith thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jack doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jack throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jack.
Smith looks gassed!
Smith tries to work over Jack's front leg with a kick but Jack checks it.
Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jack paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Smith misses with a combination
enabling Jack to counter with a crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Good exchange - Jack coming out on top.

Smith is rocked!
Jack cracks Smith with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Smith tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jack pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Smith is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
