The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grucha shoots for a takedown but Motta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Despite the aggression on Motta's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Grucha looks for a takedown but Motta sprawls well.
Motta lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Grucha fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Motta is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Motta wants to control but Grucha is having none of it.

Grucha is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Motta is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Motta flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Grucha anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Motta and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Grucha slips an arm under Motta chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Grucha has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Grucha is squeezing on Motta like an anaconda would it's prey. Motta fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
