Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cluk Cloo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cloo comes to the cage accompanied by Mali Young Masters: Djembe World Drum Music. Peterson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Diamond. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cloo's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Cloo duly obliges.

It looks like Victor Peterson has been cut.
Cloo tries to land a leg kick but Peterson saw it coming and moves away.
Peterson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cloo.

Cloo throws a right and a left that both miss.

Peterson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cloo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Peterson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cloo has time to react.
Oh Cloo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Peterson has hold of Cloo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cloo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cloo is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Peterson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cloo is looking to escape.
Cloo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cloo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Cloo is staying active underneath Peterson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Peterson is taking a breather. Cloo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Cloo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
