Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dean Ambrose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Ambrose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Bull!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bull looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bull tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Bull wants to free his trapped foot but Ambrose is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Ambrose is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bull is trying to control. Ambrose wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ambrose looks like he's trying to stand up.

Ambrose looking for submissions off his back.
Ambrose on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ambrose tries to get out of the position.
Bull is just content to waste time from the top position. Ambrose takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ambrose keeping moving, preventing Bull from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bull tries to score with a low kick but Ambrose moves his leg out of the way.
Ambrose leaves Bull with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bull shoots in for a double leg but Ambrose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bull tries a head kick but it misses.

Bull closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bull tries to advance to mount but Ambrose denies him.

Bull has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bull throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ambrose's waist but Ambrose gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bull off to one side.
Dean Ambrose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Bull.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bull or perhaps it was just good defense by Ambrose, which made it look bad.

Bull has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ambrose is working away from the top position though.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ambrose is keen to just control but Bull is a slippery customer.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Ambrose shoots in for a takedown but Bull shows good takedown defense.
Bull goes for a double leg but Ambrose avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ambrose continues to drive forward.
Bull tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ambrose swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ambrose throws a body punch but Bull moves out of range.
Ambrose dives in for a single leg takedown but Bull sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bull looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Ambrose shoots in looking for a takedown but Bull manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ambrose's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Ambrose. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ambrose throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bull closes the distance and clinches up with Ambrose, looking for a takedown. Bull pushes Ambrose against the cage but Ambrose circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bull shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ambrose sprawls well. Ambrose wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bull gets slowly back to his feet.

and Ambrose counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bull bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jack Bull has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bull is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ambrose knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bull just content to control the position.

Ambrose manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Ambrose cracks a nice hook into Bull's ribs.
Bull shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ambrose appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Ambrose misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bull pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ambrose rushes Bull and presses him up against the cage.

Ambrose tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bull smiles and moves away.

Ambrose moves into the clinch.
Ambrose jumps guard but Bull stands there with Ambrose around his waist. Ambrose gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bull jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ambrose walks away with a smile on his face. Bull gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bull fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ambrose, pushing him back against the cage.
Ambrose is trying to pull guard but Bull has him pressed against the cage.
Bull fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bull goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ambrose prevents it.

Ambrose decides to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dean Ambrose will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Bull tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ambrose paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ambrose avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bull shoots in for a takedown but Ambrose shows good takedown defense.

Ambrose is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Bull utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bull is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Bull is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ambrose sees it coming and defends easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ambrose tries to get to full guard but Bull has control of the leg.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ambrose bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Ambrose circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ambrose is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bull can do to turn this around?
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bull.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ambrose.
Bull tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ambrose defends well and Bull ends up having to push Ambrose into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jack Bull has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dean Ambrose is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
