Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henry Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Nugent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Nugent will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nugent tries to clinch but Winchester moves out of range.
Winchester attempts a counter takedown but Nugent avoids it well and moves away.

Winchester looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Nugent wants to get back to full guard but Winchester has mounted him!
Winchester controlling the pace for now.
Nugent tries to lock up and control but Winchester gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Winchester pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nugent is in a horrible position here. Winchester smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Winchester goes for an armbar but Nugent turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Nugent.

Nugent stops Winchester from standing up.
Winchester on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Winchester tries to get out of the position.
Nugent wants to control from the top but Winchester keeps moving.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Winchester holds on and takes a little breather.

Winchester has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nugent can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Winchester is pulling down on Nugent's head to control his posture.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Winchester looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Nugent passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nugent is trying to ground and pound but Winchester uses the momentary lack of control by Nugent to regain half guard.
Winchester is doing well to control the position and prevent Nugent from advancing to side control.
Nugent tries to pass the half guard into mount. Winchester knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Winchester tries to roll over but Nugent keeps him under control.

Winchester moves into full guard.

Winchester is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nugent is aware though and is defending well.
Winchester bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nugent's guard.

Winchester is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Nugent wants to sweep here but Winchester controlling him for the moment.

Winchester drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Winchester seems to have locked his on tight now - Nugent screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Winchester, as he picks up the win!
