The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor scores with a jab to the jaw.
Taylor has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tinkl is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Tinkl takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Phil Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick from Taylor misses.
Tinkl shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Taylor thuds his right hand into Tinkl's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Tinkl tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Taylor defends well and Tinkl ends up having to push Taylor into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Taylor throws a head kick that half lands.
Taylor lands a big head kick that sends Tinkl tumbling to the mat! Taylor takes a step backwards and waves Tinkl back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Tinkl is rocked!
