Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is eye of the tiger. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilkins feints and as Gonzalez raises his hands in defense, Wilkins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wilkins wants to control from the top but Gonzalez keeps moving.
Gonzalez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wilkins's guard.
Wilkins throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Gonzalez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilkins on the ground.
Wilkins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Gonzalez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Wilkins decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gonzalez's guard.

Gonzalez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wilkins drops back looking for a leg! Gonzalez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gonzalez manages to kick Wilkins off! Wilkins jumps back into Gonzalez's guard.
Gonzalez looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wilkins puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Wilkins drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gonzalez dives on top into guard.

Wilkins looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Gonzalez is defending well. Wilkins quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gonzalez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wilkins celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
