Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obasi misses with a double jab.
Gerson appears to be looking for a big counter.
Gerson looks to score with a jab to the body but Obasi is just out of range.
Gerson looks to throw the jab but Obasi is out of range.

Obasi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gerson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gerson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Obasi decides to stand back up.

Obasi moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Obasi stalling.
Gerson can't get the takedown.
Obasi with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Gerson being controlled against the cage.
Gerson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Obasi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Obasi is trying to trip Gerson. He has hold of a leg but Gerson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Obasi persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Gerson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Obasi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Obasi trying to control the position from guard on top but Gerson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Obasi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gerson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Obasi is looking to defend but Gerson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Obasi! Gerson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Obasi taps out and this one is all over!
