Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zach Craig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Guerreiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guerreiro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Guerreiro blocks an uppercut.
Guerreiro should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Craig wants to break free but Guerreiro has control.
Guerreiro is trying to drag Craig to the mat but Craig just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Guerreiro tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Guerreiro drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Zach Craig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Guerreiro.

Craig working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Guerreiro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Guerreiro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Craig working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Guerreiro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Guerreiro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Craig throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Guerreiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Craig swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Guerreiro wants to pass the guard but Craig is keeping the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Craig looks to land a left hand but Guerreiro moved out of range nicely.
No luck for Guerreiro with that takedown attempt.
Craig throws a lazy right hand but Guerreiro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Guerreiro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Craig's waist but Craig gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guerreiro off to one side.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Craig is looking for a triangle but Guerreiro pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Guerreiro drops back looking for a leg! Craig is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Craig manages to kick Guerreiro off! Guerreiro jumps back into Craig's guard.

Craig manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Guerreiro manages to get himself to full guard.

Craig manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Guerreiro tries to reverse the position but Craig maintains control.
Guerreiro is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Craig throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Guerreiro wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Craig.

A close round but Antonio Guerreiro will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Craig throws a series of punches but Guerreiro avoids them all with ease.
Guerreiro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Guerreiro circles away from the clinch attempt.
Craig scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Guerreiro doesn't seem bothered though.
Craig fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Guerreiro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Craig's waist but Craig gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guerreiro off to one side.
Zach Craig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Craig has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Guerreiro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Craig pushes Guerreiro off and scrambles back to his feet.
Craig throws a shot from downtown. Guerreiro moves away and avoids it.
Guerreiro tries for a takedown but Craig sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Guerreiro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Craig swivels and escapes.
Craig bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Guerreiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Craig tries to avoid it but Guerreiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Craig to the ground. Craig escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Craig connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Guerreiro shoots in for a double leg but Craig sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Guerreiro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Craig sprawls well initially but Guerreiro persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Craig is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Guerreiro pulls his head out easily.

Craig is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zach Craig will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Guerreiro moves away from the strike by Craig.
Guerreiro lands with a kick to the temple. Craig shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Guerreiro will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Craig doesn't manage to clinch there - Guerreiro circles away.
Guerreiro misses with an attempted mid kick.
Guerreiro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Craig paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Craig lunges at Guerreiro with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Guerreiro's hand.

and Guerreiro decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Craig's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Craig is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guerreiro is controlling him.

Guerreiro stands up and waves to Craig to follow him.
Guerreiro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Craig pinned against the cage. Craig gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Guerreiro tries to clinch up.
Craig lands a head shot.

Guerreiro takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Craig closes the distance but Guerreiro moves to the side

and Guerreiro counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Craig!

Guerreiro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Craig doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Guerreiro.

Antonio Guerreiro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Guerreiro has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
