Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Riley Collier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Zakhar!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakhar throws a leg kick which misses Collier's front leg but catches the back leg as Collier tries to avoid it.
Zakhar closes the distance and clinches.
Collier ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Collier no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Zakhar tries to free his leg and advance position but Collier is retaining full guard.
Zakhar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zakhar passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Zakhar creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Collier sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Collier parries the strikes from Zakhar easily there. Zakhar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Collier to escape.
Collier is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zakhar off and has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zakhar is really stuck here.

I really don't envy Zakhar right now.
Zakhar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Collier is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Zakhar is defending well though. Collier let's go of the attempt for now.
Zakhar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Zakhar turns into Collier and is now in his guard.
Zakhar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Collier is keeping the position for now.

Zakhar wants to pass the guard but Collier is keeping the position.
Zakhar decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Collier, up you get!

Zakhar misses with a series of wild punches.
Collier moves out of range of the body kick from Zakhar.
Collier throws a quick counter head kick but Zakhar was just out of range.
A low kick from Zakhar is predictable there
and Collier counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Zakhar scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Collier shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zakhar pinned against the cage. Zakhar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Collier walks into a jab.
It looks like Riley Collier has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zakhar pounces like a tiger and cracks Collier with a vicious hook! Collier is down but not out! Zakhar follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
