Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nich DiMag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans's entrance music is Kashmir. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nich DiMag!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DiMag misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Evans moves out of range as DiMag strikes.
DiMag throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Evans stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Evans takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Evans looks to score with a jab to the body but DiMag is just out of range.
DiMag connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Evans shoots for a takedown but DiMag saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
DiMag throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
DiMag ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Evans on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Evans avoids a punch combination nicely.
Evans shoots in looking for a takedown. DiMag tries to sprawl out of it but Evans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. DiMag manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
DiMag closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Nich DiMag is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DiMag fails to land with a series of punches.
DiMag looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
DiMag lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
DiMag fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Evans on the side of the head.
Evans dodges the punch combination from DiMag.
DiMag misses with a few strikes there.
DiMag throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Evans counter with a right hand.
Evans with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling DiMag to score with a decent uppercut.
Evans ducks under a wild hook from DiMag.
Evans throws the left hand but DiMag avoids the punch easily.
Some wild striking there from DiMag.
Evans looks to throw the jab but DiMag is out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Evans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but DiMag manages to avoid it.
Evans looks for a takedown but DiMag sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Evans. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A swing and a miss from Evans.
DiMag misses with a looping right.
DiMag lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Evans gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Evans is pushing DiMag up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A head punch blocked on the inside by DiMag.
Come on Evans - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Evans is trying to stall.
DiMag working hard to break the clinch.
DiMag lands a right hand that snaps the head of Evans backwards.
Evans looking for a takedown.
Evans's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
DiMag lands a left hand that snaps the head of Evans backwards.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Evans keeps the fight in the clinch, despite DiMag's efforts to push away.
Evans takes a shot to the head.
Evans misses with a hook to the ribs.
DiMag tries to break the clinch but Evans is controlling the position.

Evans gets control of DiMag's arms and successfully pulls guard. Evans will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
DiMag would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Evans trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Evans working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Evans wants to sweep here but DiMag controlling him for the moment.
DiMag wanted to stand there but Evans had control of the position.
Evans throws a couple of heel strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Evans is trying to control the position but DiMag postures up.
Evans has a closed guard, preventing DiMag from standing up.

Evans escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. DiMag gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Evans scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Evans bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in DiMag's guard.

Evans trying to control the position from guard on top but DiMag is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
DiMag wants to stand but Evans is controlling the position.
Evans lands a couple of digs.
Evans slips nicely into half guard.
Evans missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nich DiMag dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


DiMag fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Evans on the side of the head.
DiMag smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
DiMag ducks under a wild hook from Evans.
DiMag fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Nice shot lands for DiMag.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by DiMag!


Evans is rocked!
DiMag lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nich DiMag!
