Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Jabbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Abdul Jabbar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rock Allen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Allen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jabbar.
Allen taking a breather.
Jabbar changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Allen fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Allen throws a nice looking combination but Jabbar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Allen misses with a jab, cross combination.

Jabbar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Allen tries to escape but Jabbar is in control.
Jabbar is trying to move to mount but Allen reverses beautifully and ends up in Jabbar's guard.
Allen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jabbar is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Jabbar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Allen manages to get himself to full guard.

Jabbar is looking to work some ground and pound but Allen has wrist control.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jabbar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Allen for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jabbar has Allen pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Allen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jabbar looks up at the clock and then as Allen takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jabbar smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Allen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Jabbar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Thud! ouch! good body kick from Allen - that will leave a mark!

Jabbar is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Allen's shoulder. That is not cool.
You can see the frustration on Allen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Jabbar is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Allen is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Allen flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jabbar anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Allen and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jabbar slips an arm under Allen chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jabbar has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jabbar is squeezing on Allen like an anaconda would it's prey. Allen fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Abdul Jabbar!
