The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belyx tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Alan Tsagaraev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tsagaraev wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Belyx throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Max Belyx's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Belyx showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tsagaraev.
And Belyx tries to counter it with a takedown but Tsagaraev pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Belyx tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tsagaraev defends well and Belyx ends up having to push Tsagaraev into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Belyx takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
