Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergen dives in for a single leg takedown but Holmes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bergen misses with a double jab.
Holmes goes for a double leg but Bergen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bergen continues to drive forward.
Bergen fails in his attempt to clinch.
James Bergen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bergen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Holmes quickly recovers to half guard.
Holmes is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bergen pulls his head out easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bergen throwing shots but Holmes is blocking nicely.
Bergen thows a huge punch but Holmes dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holmes keeping hold of Bergen's head, controlling as best he can.

Holmes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bergen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Holmes knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Holmes is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bergen pulls his head out easily.
Holmes is refusing to be controlled, as Bergen sits in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bergen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Holmes to the ground. Bergen is now in Holmes's guard.
Holmes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bergen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Holmes really is a fat lump.
Holmes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bergen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bergen drops back looking for a leg! Holmes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Holmes manages to kick Bergen off! Bergen jumps back into Holmes's guard.
Bergen postures up.
Bergen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holmes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Holmes keeping moving, preventing Bergen from controlling successfully.
Holmes looking for a triangle here. Bergen is fighting it but it looks tight! Holmes pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Bergen is tapping out - this one is all over!
