The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freitas is looking to clinch but Gregorio is avoiding it.
Marcelo Freitas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freitas looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Gregorio throws a jab but it's blocked by Freitas.
Freitas ducks under a wild hook from Gregorio.
Gregorio looks to land a left hand but Freitas moved out of range nicely.
Gregorio throws a head kick but Freitas moves out of range.
Gregorio thows a left - swing and a miss!
Freitas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gregorio misses with a straight right.
Freitas is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gregorio.
Gregorio throws a body punch but Freitas moves out of range.
Gregorio swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Freitas moves in looking to clinch but Gregorio pushes him off.
Freitas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gregorio.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gregorio does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A head kick misses from Gregorio.
Nice defenses there by Freitas.
Freitas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gregorio.
Gregorio throws a sloppy body shot
and Freitas counters with a big head kick but Gregorio shrugs it off.

Gregorio throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Freitas lands with a cross.
Gregorio swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gregorio misses with a body shot.
Freitas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gregorio goes for a double leg but Freitas avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Freitas continues to drive forward.
Freitas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gregorio throws a low kick but Freitas moves out of range easily.
Freitas lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Gregorio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Freitas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gregorio paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gregorio throws a big shot that misses.
Freitas defending well as Gregorio loads up on a big left hand.
Gregorio thows a left - swing and a miss!
Freitas checks a leg kick.
Freitas quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Freitas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Freitas wants it to stay on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gregorio misses with a hook. Freitas ducked under it nicely.
Gregorio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gregorio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Freitas manages to avoid it.
Gregorio tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Freitas swivels and escapes.
Marcelo Freitas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bardo Gregorio.
Gregorio walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Freitas checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gregorio changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Freitas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gregorio just content to control the position.
Gregorio has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Gregorio scoring with strikes but Freitas is staying in there.
Gregorio looking to isolate an arm here. Freitas doesn't see it coming and as Gregorio extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Gregorio!

A relieved looking Bardo Gregorio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
