The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loiseau staying out of range there.
Maija misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Loiseau.
Maija throws a poor cross that misses
and Loiseau counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Maija misses the jab.
Loiseau stuns Maija with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Maija throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Loiseau getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Loiseau connects with a single shot there.
Maija ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Loiseau moves away.
Maija shoots and misses
and Loiseau counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Maija takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Maija misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Maija changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Loiseau tries to avoid it but Maija manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Loiseau to the ground. Loiseau escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taneli Maija. That's going to take a lot out of him.

It seemed like Loiseau was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Maija takes a swing at Loiseau's ribcage but misses.
Maija drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Maija attempts a counter takedown but Loiseau avoids it well and moves away.
Maija throws a body shot but no joy.
Loiseau lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Maija is rocked!
Loiseau lands with a straight right. Maija didn't see that one coming.
Oh Maija is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters circle, before Loiseau throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Maija's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Loiseau lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Henry Loiseau looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I feel pretty robbed from our last fight, so Walt Disney lets go again.'.
