Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elbert Walls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Telo Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Telo Castillo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elbert Walls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Telo Castillo!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walls fails with the takedown.
And Castillo tries to counter it with a takedown but Walls pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Walls changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Castillo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Walls could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Walls swings around for an armbar but Castillo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Walls's guard.
Walls tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Castillo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Walls lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Let's hope that Castillo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Castillo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Walls's shoulder. That is not cool.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Castillo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

And Castillo tries to counter it with a takedown but Walls pushes his down on his head and steps out.

I think Walls has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
