Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Nealson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Smash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smash tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nealson swivels and escapes.
Nealson closes the distance and pushes Smash back into the cage.
Smash looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Smash jumps guard but Nealson stands there with Smash around his waist. Smash gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nealson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Smash gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Nealson is looking for a triangle but Smash pushes his legs off easily.
Nealson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smash defends well.
Nealson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Smash won't allow Nealson to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nealson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smash gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smash drops back looking for a leg! Nealson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nealson manages to kick Smash off! Smash jumps back into Nealson's guard.

Smash tries to free his leg and advance position but Nealson is retaining full guard.

Smash is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Nealson has managed to free his arm - good work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Smash is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nealson is just riding it out for now. Smash eventually gives up the hold.
Smash is looking to advance position but Nealson won't allow it.

Nealson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smash's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smash's back!
Will Nealson go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Smash manages to reverse the position and now he's in Nealson's guard. Nice work there by Smash.
Nealson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smash doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smash manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Nealson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smash is working away from the top position though.

Smash is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Nealson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nealson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Smash works his way to his opponent's back.
Smash has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Nealson! Can he survive? No! He's out! Smash gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hulk Smash!
A very excited looking Hulk Smash made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
