PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Howard Stern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvin Aguilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stern comes to the cage accompanied by The Great American Nightmare. Aguilar has chosen Drector's Cut by Kamikazee as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguilar throws a shot to the body.

Stern tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aguilar defends well and Stern ends up having to push Aguilar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Aguilar has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
