And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Slinger was covering up waiting for the punch and Gerson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gerson is pushing down on Slinger's leg trying to pass to half guard. Slinger is fighting to maintain full guard but Gerson has managed to sneak the leg through.
Slinger avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gerson.
Gerson seems to be looking for submissions.
Gerson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Slinger tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gerson!
