Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rogelio Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coz Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coz Castillo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rogelio Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coz Castillo!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight misses with a head kick.

Knight gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Castillo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Knight could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Castillo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Castillo is fighting to break Knight's control of his arms but Knight is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Let's hope that Castillo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well, if Castillo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Castillo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Knight to the mat! Knight manages to get full guard.

Knight doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Knight bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Castillo's guard.

Coz Castillo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Knight's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Knight is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Knight controls Castillo momentarily but Castillo frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Castillo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Knight is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Castillo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Knight bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Castillo's guard.

Knight might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
