Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Fin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor McGregoire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcos Fin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcos Fin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Connor McGregoire!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fin misses with a body shot.

Fin rushes McGregoire and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fin blocks an elbow strike from McGregoire.

Fin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Fin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fin looking for a sweep. Not yet Fin, not yet.
McGregoire wants to control from the top but Fin keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fin seems keen to control McGregoire's posture.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fin wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Fin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And McGregoire tries to counter it with a takedown but Fin pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McGregoire avoids it really well and circles away.
McGregoire with the counter takedown but Fin avoids it easily.

Fin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGregoire but McGregoire pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcos Fin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McGregoire defends well and Fin ends up having to push McGregoire into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Fin has McGregoire pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. McGregoire manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Fin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McGregoire is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fin goes for a takedown in the clinch but McGregoire prevents it.

Fin jumps guard but McGregoire stands there with Fin around his waist. Fin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcos Fin will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Fin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McGregoire has picked Fin up and slammed him! Fin can't keep hold of the triangle and McGregoire manages to pass to side control!

Fin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McGregoire wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Fin shoots in looking for a takedown. McGregoire tries to sprawl out of it but Fin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGregoire manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Fin is looking to advance position but McGregoire won't allow it.

A close second round but Connor McGregoire will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Connor McGregoire comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think McGregoire has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
