Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor The Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chris James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Victor The Flash!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James gets the takedown into side control.
James tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James trying to control the position but The Flash is working away.
James working the body and head with strikes.
The Flash is trying to control James's posture but James avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James lands an elbow.
James stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
James closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. The Flash quickly recovers to half guard.
James drops an elbow to the side of The Flash's head.

James throws a strike but The Flash avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

James trying to control but The Flash is working from the bottom.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The Flash looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
James knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Flash on the ground.
James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Flash swivels though and keeps the full guard.
James postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
James missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
James decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
James connects with a nice looking jab.
James dodges the punch combination from The Flash.
James changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
James feints a jab promting The Flash to slip. James then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. The Flash slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Chris James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James throws a wild hook but The Flash just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! James gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - The Flash raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor The Flash!
