Cooper comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes the Boom. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper stuffs the takedown.
Cooper shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barnes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Barnes feints and as Cooper raises his hands in defense, Barnes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cooper can't keep his opponent in guard - Barnes advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Barnes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Cooper pushes Barnes off looking to stand but Barnes dives back in and keeps control.
Cooper is looking to control Barnes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cooper avoid being mounted?
Barnes has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cooper is bucking up trying to escape but Barnes cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Cooper keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Barnes can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cooper is looking to escape.
Cooper can't escape the position.

Barnes with the ground and pound from mount.

Barnes breaks from Cooper's wrist control and lands an elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooper is squirming around, avoiding Barnes's attempts to control the action.
Barnes loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Cooper scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Barnes land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Barnes stands and salutes the crowd.
