The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leer avoids a punch combination nicely.
A combination from Jackson does no damage.
Jackson works Leer's body with a nice hook.
Leer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Leer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Leer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson pushes Leer off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jackson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jackson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Jackson connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Leer on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jackson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jackson.

Leer misses with a two punch combination.
Jackson lands a jab to the nose.
Jackson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jackson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jackson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Leer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Leer walks straight into a right hand from Jackson - that's dropped him! Jackson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Leer from any more punishment! Leer complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
