The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stock walks into a left hand.
Ellis misses with a wild combination.
Ellis throws a leg kick which misses Stock's front leg but catches the back leg as Stock tries to avoid it.
Jab, jab by Ellis - just one landing.
Ellis lands a nice shot that snaps Stock's head back.
Ellis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ellis.

Stock shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ellis defends it nicely.
Ellis fires out a quick counter leg kick but Stock just manages to avoid it.
Ellis misses with a low kick.
Stock is looking for the big counter here.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stock shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stock showed some decent athleticism there.
Ellis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ellis tries to get out of the position.

Stock looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
