The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rookwood swivels and escapes.

Scott rushes Rookwood and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rookwood wants to break the clinch but can't.

Scott has hold of one of Rookwood's legs. Rookwood is fighting the takedown attempt but Scott gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Scott has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Rookwood manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scott manages to get himself to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
