The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nokia avoids the head kick by Colombo.
Colombo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Colombo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Colombo scores with a punch to the head.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Colombo.
Check out the look on Colombo's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Colombo wants to take a breather but Nokia manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Colombo.

Colombo is looking to pass into half guard but Nokia pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Nokia is in guard.

Colombo controls Nokia momentarily but Nokia frees himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Colombo seems keen to control Nokia's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Colombo is looking for a sweep. Nokia is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Nokia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nokia looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Colombo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nokia was well out of range. Poor timing from Colombo.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A head kick misses from Colombo.
Nokia changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Colombo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nokia manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Colombo misses with a shot to the body
and Nokia counters with a series of strikes. Colombo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nokia takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Bastian Nokia has been cut.
Colombo tries a head kick but it misses.
Colombo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Colombo misses with a wild combination.
And Nokia tries to counter it with a takedown but Colombo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nokia ducks under a wild hook from Colombo.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Colombo catches Nokia with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Colombo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nokia feints the counter takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Colombo and Nokia are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Colombo throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Nokia into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Colombo knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
