Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Trezeguet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jessie Holloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 35 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Trezeguet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jessie Holloway!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Trezeguet enables Holloway to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trezeguet manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Holloway trying to control but Trezeguet is working from the bottom.
Trezeguet wants to sweep here but Holloway controlling him for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holloway is looking to work some ground and pound but Trezeguet has wrist control.

Holloway drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Trezeguet manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Holloway has Trezeguet in his guard.


That's one minute gone in the round.
Trezeguet trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Holloway is on top in guard.

Holloway trying to control but Trezeguet is working from the bottom.
Trezeguet manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Holloway manages to get himself to full guard.

Holloway is trying to hold Trezeguet in close to prevent damage but Trezeguet has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Holloway is looking to improve his position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Trezeguet in particular looking to stall.
Holloway regains full guard. Nicely done.
Trezeguet content to stall in guard here.
Holloway throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Holloway can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Trezeguet controls the pace.
Holloway is trying to keep Trezeguet in close.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Trezeguet's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Trezeguet controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Trezeguet is looking to slow Holloway down with leg kicks.
Holloway looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trezeguet is fending him off so far but Holloway persists. Nope, Trezeguet circles away and we're back to standing.
Trezeguet wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Holloway throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Trezeguet stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Holloway clinches.
Trezeguet tries to work over Holloway's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Trezeguet tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Holloway's elbow.
Trezeguet content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Holloway ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Holloway no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Trezeguet is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jessie Holloway will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Holloway misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Trezeguet throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Holloway checks a leg kick.

Holloway fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Trezeguet to the ground. Holloway is now in Trezeguet's guard.
Holloway must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Holloway wants to stand and escape but instead Trezeguet has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Jessie Holloway has got the better of the ground game so far.
Holloway wants to stand and escape but Trezeguet is having none of it.

Trezeguet is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Holloway throws his legs up looking for a submission but Trezeguet uses it to pass to side control.

Trezeguet has hold of Holloway's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Holloway seems comfortable defending it but Trezeguet has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Holloway is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Holloway is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Trezeguet couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). David Trezeguet!
David Trezeguet spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
