Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Hunter Risley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adrian Knight struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hunter Risley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adrian Knight!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight moves into the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Knight pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Risley misses with a wild body shot.
Knight only half commits to the counter leg kick.

Knight closes the distance and clinches.
The referee is keeping an eye on Risley - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Risley displaying some good clinch control by pressing Knight up against the ropes.
Risley blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Risley struggles to land a body shot inside as Knight controls his hands.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.
Knight is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Risley effectively controlling the action here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knight trying to stall but Risley improves his position.
Knight prevents a body shot from Risley.
Risley goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Knight breaks the clinch.
Risley misses with the combination.

Risley closes the distance and clinches.
Knight misses with a short punch on the inside.
Risley blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Knight tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Risley stalling.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Knight escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Knight scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hunter Risley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Risley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Knight has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sloppy strikes from Risley. Those never looked like landing.
Risley blocks a head kick by Knight.
A combination from Risley does no damage.
Knight throws a hook but Risley blocks it.
Risley connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Knight to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Risley!
