Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederick Bowles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kennedy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sledgehammer. Frederick Bowles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ben Watson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kennedy thows a body kick. Bowles tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Kennedy throws a nice looking combination but Bowles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kennedy blocks the body kick.
Kennedy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bowles scores with a hook to the body. Kennedy takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Bowles throws a series of punches but Kennedy moves out of range.

Kennedy lands with a thumping leg kick.

Kennedy seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A solid leg kick lands there for Kennedy.
Bowles displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kennedy throws out the jab.
Kennedy avoids the head kick by Bowles.

Kennedy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bowles has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kennedy instigates a clinch.
Bowles is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Bowles looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Kennedy has Bowles pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bowles manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Kennedy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kennedy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bowles is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Kennedy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kennedy gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Bowles wants to stand but Kennedy is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kennedy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Bowles escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kennedy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bowles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Bowles throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Bowles is trying to keep Kennedy in close.
Bowles utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kennedy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Kennedy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Bowles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kennedy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bowles wants to get back to his feet but Kennedy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bowles has momentary wrist control but Kennedy slips an elbow through the middle.
Kennedy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Kennedy dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kennedy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bowles's head backwards.
Bowles is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Kennedy feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Bowles collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
