Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thanh Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Duffy does no damage.
Hunt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Duffy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hunt has time to react.
It looks like Thanh Hunt has been cut.
Duffy wants to clinch up but Hunt keeps it at a distance.
Hunt thows a leg kick but Duffy checks it
and Duffy counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Duffy decides to pull guard.
Duffy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hunt throwing strikes but missing.
Hunt distracts Duffy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Duffy controls Hunt momentarily but Hunt frees himself.

Duffy wants to stand and escape but Hunt is having none of it.

Duffy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Hunt circles away from the clinch attempt.
Some bone on bone action there as Duffy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Duffy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hunt tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Duffy is in Hunt's guard.

Hunt wants to get back to his feet but Duffy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hunt is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Duffy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hunt working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Duffy's head.
Hunt scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Duffy wants to sweep here but Hunt controlling him for the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hunt's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Duffy feints and as Hunt raises his hands in defense, Duffy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hunt has his hands on Duffy's head, controlling the position.
Duffy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hunt's guard.

Hunt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Duffy misses with a body shot.
Hunt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hunt gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Duffy to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Duffy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Hunt half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hunt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Duffy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Duffy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Duffy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hunt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Duffy scores with a sloppy right hand. Hunt should have avoided that one.

That's time! Hunt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Duffy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hunt pushes Duffy off looking to stand but Duffy dives back in and keeps control.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Duffy is on top in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Duffy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Hunt is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Duffy defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duffy is trying to remain composed but Hunt is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Thanh Hunt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rob Duffy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
You can see the frustration on Duffy's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thanh Hunt.
Well Duffy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
