Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donte Luna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bod Fak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bod Fak will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fak throws a lazy head kick

and Luna moves into the clinch.
Luna prevents a takedown attempt there.
Luna lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Bod Fak has been cut.
Fak looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Luna pressing his opponent against the cage.

Luna breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fak throws the kick towards the body but Luna avoids it.
Fak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fak looks for a takedown but Luna sprawls well.
As Fak tries to get set, Luna tries to push him back and clinch up but Fak manages to avoid the attempt.
Donte Luna has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bod Fak.
Fak closes the distance and clinches up with Luna, looking for a takedown. Fak pushes Luna against the cage but Luna circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fak throws a head kick that misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Luna escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice sprawl there from Luna as Fak shoots in.
Fak goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Fak throws a head kick that misses

and Luna counters by moving into the clinch.
Fak is trying to stall.
Fak has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Luna avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Luna breaks from the clinch.

Luna closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Luna landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Fak looks winded!

Luna is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Luna is working for a submission of some sort.

Luna is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fak pushes Luna off looking to stand but Luna dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fak tries to roll over but Luna keeps him under control.

Luna seems to be working for a kimura but Fak defends the submission attempt.

Fak wants to control the action here but instead Luna manages to pass to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fak defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Luna.
Luna will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fak is wriggling around trying to escape.
Fak is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Luna jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fak manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Fak misses with an elbow from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donte Luna dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Luna keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Luna counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Luna.
Donte Luna has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bod Fak.

Luna manages to pull guard.
Fak tries to free his leg and advance position but Luna is retaining full guard.
Luna tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Luna is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Luna has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fak defend it? Luna steps over the head and cranks it - Fak is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Luna!
