The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victorio swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Victorio thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ladi if he has to take too many more of those.
Tommy Victorio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ladi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Victorio cracks Ladi with an uppercut from hell and Ladi crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Victorio's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Ladi is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Victorio postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ladi covers up, he's hurt! Victorio keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Victorio and the ref steps in to end the fight! Victorio can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Victorio!
