Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noah Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Dolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noah Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stan Dolan!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dolan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Noah Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dolan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Diaz fails to pull guard.
Diaz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dolan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dolan throws out a loose jab but Diaz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Dolan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dolan doesn't manage to clinch there - Diaz circles away.
Diaz throws a right and a left that Dolan avoids nicely.
Diaz misses with a combination
and Dolan counters with a slapping leg kick.
Dolan takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dolan tries to bum rush Diaz with a series of wild strikes but Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dolan darts in and clinches Diaz up against the cage.
Diaz fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noah Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diaz prevents Dolan from breaking the clinch.
Diaz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dolan prevents it.
Diaz tries to score a body lock takedown but Dolan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Dolan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Dolan counters with a nice leg kick.
Diaz throws a left and a right that both miss

and Dolan counters by moving into the clinch.

Dolan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Diaz misses with a double jab
and Dolan counters with a straight right hand.
Dolan throws a series of punches but Diaz moves out of range.
Dolan moves forwards but Diaz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Stan Dolan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Diaz misses with a combination
and Dolan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Diaz doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dolan counters with a three punch combo that has Diaz backing up. Diaz nods at Dolan to acknowledge the strikes.
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Left hook, right uppercut from Diaz.
Diaz throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Dolan throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely.
Diaz misses with a double jab
and Dolan counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dolan closes the distance and clinches.

Dolan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Diaz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dolan counters with a nice body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Diaz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dolan's guard.

Dolan keeping moving, preventing Diaz from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diaz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Diaz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Diaz passes Dolan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Dolan has hold of Diaz's hands but Diaz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Dolan tries to roll over but Diaz keeps him under control.
Dolan looks like he's trying to stand up.
Diaz scoring with strikes to the body and head.

Dolan looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dolan wants to improve his position but Diaz is controlling well.

Diaz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Diaz is nestled in close to Dolan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Dolan is looking to escape.
Diaz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Dolan is trying to stand.
Diaz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Diaz stops Dolan from getting back to his feet.
Diaz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dolan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Diaz is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Diaz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dolan swivels and escapes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Diaz throws a series of punches but Dolan moves out of range.

Dolan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Diaz, pushing him back against the cage.

Dolan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Diaz misses with a two punch combination.
Dolan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Diaz.
Dolan swinging wilding here.
Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dolan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Diaz darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dolan falls off balance throwing a combination

and Diaz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dolan is refusing to be controlled, as Diaz sits in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Diaz connects with a nice short shot to Dolan's temple.
Diaz is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Noah Diaz dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Diaz lands with a big left! Dolan is wobbled badly! Diaz comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Dolan to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Noah Diaz!
