The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slayer throws a right and a left that both miss.

Bishop Jr tries to keep at a distance but Slayer has taken the fight into the clinch.
Slayer gets underhooks to prevent Bishop Jr's takedown attempt.

Bishop Jr has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Slayer after a bit of a struggle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slayer tries to work over Bishop Jr's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
