The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Stockton.
Stockton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Duncan at a distance.
Stockton moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Eddie Duncan has been cut.
A lazy left from Stockton finds it's target.

Duncan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stockton did well to prevent Duncan getting side control.
Duncan is pressing down on Stockton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stockton is holding on for now.

Stockton wants to control but Duncan is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Stockton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duncan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stockton felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Duncan is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Duncan misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Stockton wants to hold on but Duncan pushes him away.
Stockton might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Duncan haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Duncan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Stockton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Stockton wants to hold on but Duncan pushes him away.
