Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oisin O Conghaile!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Gamer!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamer tries to bum rush O Conghaile with a series of wild strikes but O Conghaile uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
O Conghaile is looking to counter punch.
Oisin O Conghaile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Conghaile misses with a body kick.
O Conghaile pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gamer takes a kick to the side of the head.


It looks like Edward Gamer has been cut.
Gamer lands a really nice looking cross but O Conghaile seems unphased.


It looks like Oisin O Conghaile has been cut.
Gamer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but O Conghaile checks it well.
O Conghaile throws a right hand that misses
and Gamer counters with a good low kick that O Conghaile was not able to check.
Gamer cracks O Conghaile with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Gamer misses with a two punch combination.
O Conghaile's corner calls for a 1-2. O Conghaile obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
O Conghaile looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
O Conghaile pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gamer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
O Conghaile fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gamer.
Gamer wants to land a leg kick but O Conghaile is out of range.
O Conghaile thinks about countering with a head kick.
O Conghaile with a hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gamer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
O Conghaile quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Gamer slips a jab from O Conghaile.
Gamer flicks out a counter leg kick but O Conghaile steps away.
Gamer's coach down at KAMOT-E 4.5* sparring gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gamer's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Gamer takes one on the button.
O Conghaile chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gamer can pounce on him.
Gamer getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
O Conghaile throws a body punch but Gamer moves out of range.
Gamer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gamer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Conghaile.
Gamer misses with a few strikes there.

O Conghaile moves into the clinch.
O Conghaile blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
O Conghaile lands with a short punch from the clinch.
O Conghaile misses with a body punch.
O Conghaile is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

O Conghaile manages to break the clinch.
O Conghaile has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Planet Granite in the buildup to the fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
O Conghaile misses with a hook to the body

and Gamer counters with a crisp one two that drops O Conghaile! Gamer thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves O Conghaile to his feet! O Conghaile is in big trouble!


O Conghaile is rocked!

Gamer fakes the body blow, causing O Conghaile to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! O Conghaile goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edward Gamer!
Edward Gamer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Oisin O Conghaile spoke after the fight, saying 'You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance!'.
